This Cheat Codes Guide for GTA San Andreas is for every PlayStation platform, so it applies to the following games:

Entering GTA San Andreas cheats for PS2, PS3, or in the Definitive Edition for PS4 & PS5 is very easy: simply enter the button combinations on the controller for your desired cheat listed below, and a confirmation message will appear. You can enter cheats at any time during normal gameplay, without pausing the game.

However, make sure you save the game before using cheats in GTA San Andreas: the PS5, PS4, and PS3 versions of the game have Trophies support and using cheats on those versions will permanently disable Trophies on the current save file.

So if you care about achieving 100% Completion, make a save file dedicated to cheats where you wreak havoc how you want, but make sure you always have a "clean" save file you can go back to complete the game.

You can also de-activate certain GTA San Andreas cheats, by simply re-entering them. However, some cheats cannot be disabled (such as Pedestrians Riot & Attack) and will require you to quit the game or reload a previous save file.

Note: on the PlayStation 3 port, the triggers and bumpers commands must be pressed in the opposite way. This means that on PS3 you must invert L1 with L2, and you must invert R1 with R2.

Rockstar has announced that due to engine incompatibility and technical reasons, some cheat codes have been removed from the remastered version of GTA San Andreas that's part of the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition. The removed cheats are noted below.

Maximum Health, Armor & Money Cheat

This cheat gives you maximum health, armor, and is also a GTA San Andreas Money Cheat, as it gives you $250,000. It also repairs your vehicle.

Infinite Health Cheat

Makes you mostly immune to bullets and melee attacks. However, you are still affected by explosions, falling, getting run over, and drowning.
